The Falcourt Inn,  a recently restored fishing lodge, is now a charming Country Inn overlooking the Nictaux River, nestled between the North and South Mountains of the Annapolis Valley. Breakfast Area

The Inn, completed in 1920, is rich in local history, and much of its original ambiance has been retained. Located in Nictaux, three miles south of Middleton and 8 miles west of Greenwood at 8979 Highway 201, Nictaux, Falcourt Inn is both secluded and private, yet convenient.

The Inn has seven guest rooms and one suite, each with cable tv, telephone, data ports, ceiling fans, private baths & air-conditioning. The Millview Suite  over looks the charming Nictaux River and two mountain ranges. The suite offers a sitting area with large windows, a king size bed that is located opposite the  fireplace,  and a  jet tub.

Picture yourself curled up in one of the high wing back chairs either reading quietly, or just relaxing and enjoying the view.

After a nice rest, maybe you would like to take a walk over the property, or down to the river. Did you see the salmon jumping? Or maybe you saw a squirrel running up the side of a tree.  Imagine sitting on our large  verandah, and watching the birds as they glide off into the horizon, while sipping on your cold drink, or a nice hot cup of tea.  Can you envision yourself at our Inn?

Outside deck

The large hallway upstairs, makes a cozy common area, that is ideal for a game of checkers, or just a nice area to talk with friends. Well behaved children are always welcome at the Inn. There is a wheelchair accessible room located on the main floor. The bathroom is equipped with a four foot shower stall, and grab bars. If you require other items to make your stay more comfortable, the innkeepers will do their best to secure them for you.

Reidvale House
Sixty years ago, Reidvale House was home to the farm foreman. Today the light airy building retains that authentic feeling and residents enjoy views of farm buildings and pasture land. Extensive renovations have filled the house with a large living room, modern kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom with washer and dryer.
As you enter the Falcourt Inn, you are met at the check in desk by helpful and informative innkeepers. After registering you are assisted to your awaiting room. Great service is not just a word at the Falcourt Inn it is a way of life.

A few comments from a recent survey:

The great hospitality , comfort, quiet, great food, convenience and flexibility.

Personal service and inviting atmosphere.

I liked the home environment and location, the friendliness of the staff.

When I unpacked my suitcase I found that my shampoo has busted and there was soap all over my clothes. I was able to use the washing machine and dryer there. I was very appreciated for this as I had an important meeting the next day.

Atmosphere, very enjoyable service efficient and friendly, couldn't be better.

Quiet ambiance, and good dinners and attention to details.

I like the friendliness and informality of all the staff. It makes it a relaxing comfortable stay.

What do our guests have to say about us, a LOT

It was truely the most relaxing tranquil place we have visited in a long time.  It was so clean and comfortable and that is not all, the food and service was the best.

Thank You to everyone there including the owner Derick, and to our entertainment at dinner, Angie, you were a delight.  Everyone was great.

Thank You Derick, we will recommend this Inn to many others!

All the Best,
Howard and Theresa Tanner

Hi All
Maggie and I really enjoyed our visit to Middleton last week and wish to express our appreciation to the staff of the Falcourt Inn for all you hospitality. We also enjoyed the restaurant breakfast and dinner meals and hope for a return visit soon. Thanks once again Maggie and Bill

Thank you for the hospitality on our visit last Friday.  We stayed in your suite at the Inn and enjoyed the place and the family and staff very much.  Attached is a photo I took on Saturday morning, out behind the inn at the pumpkin patch.  I hope you enjoy it. Alan

Hello:  First of all, I would like to say that our stay at your lovely Inn was a wonderfull way to begin our vacation in Nova Scotia.  Dinner on the 3rd and breakfast the next day were of course delicious.  Our accommodations were beautiful and very comfortable.  Thanks again for your hospitality.  Secondly, would you be able to tell me about the delicious raspberry preserves you served for breakfast?  Are they able to be purchased here in the States?  They were the best I've had since who knows when.  If you can, would appreciate a reply.  Thank you again for a wonderful stay.  Best regards, Andrew Pustay,

I am writing to tell you how much I enjoyed my overnight stay at the Falcourt Inn last week.   It is such a lovely old home with a very welcoming, comfortable ambiance.  The food was delicious best salmon I have every had!--and so reasonably priced.  I particularly enjoyed hearing about the history of the inn and the surrounding area.  Thanks also for my birthday momento- -just another delightful touch!  I would highly recommend your inn as a wonderful place to stay.  Thanks again for everything! J.B. Dartmouth, N.S.

Just want to say THANK YOU for your hospitality & attentive service..... we truly loved our stay at Falcourt Inn! Just wish it could have been longer.  We spent 2 wks exploring areas along the Evangeline & Lighthouse Trails.  We found the Falcourt Inn to be a highlight!   (By the way, our trip included 2 nights at the Pines in Digby.....very nice, but your inn excels!!) We SO enjoyed the view from the Mill View room.....the fantastic food!!....in the lovely dining room......relaxing on the front porch......walking to the river....those great blueberry breakfast muffins!!.....just everything was wonderful!   Your hard work & effort is appreciated.Would have only couple suggestions........ perhaps ad another towel rack.......and put a grab bar in Jacuzzi & rubber mat.   Having had hip replacement & arthritis, I am very aware of possible falls. Otherwise.....Mill View room was extremely comfortable & great!
THANKS AGAIN!!  Byron & Jayne Steiff  Sarasota, Florida

Good Morning LeGard Family,
Our recent visit to your "home" was just GRAND.  We stayed three days and I wish that we could have spent several weeks.  I know that we will return.
The Inn, the setting, your staff, the food and the cordial/family like treatment made for a most enjoyable visit.  We have participated in B&B's in Ireland, Scotland and England and non can compare.  You are the BEST.On behalf of Jerry/Sharon Landcastle and Cal/Joyce Lathan, I want to thank you for a great visit.Warmenst Personal Regards, Cal Lathan

Just got back from Hull...stayed at the Four Points Sheraton not very impressive and service was terrible...walked out of restaurant Sunday night after waiting almost 30 minutes...there were 8-10 others who left when I did.  Anyway just wanted to say thanks very much for the wonderful weekend, even with my back as bad as it was I had a great time and enjoyed every minute of it. I do a significant amount of traveling across this country and have stayed in over 100 different places and have seen none better than yours.  Hope everything continues to go well and that we get down again soon...Glen
